Many happy memories of Gippsland. Initially flying a Piper onto a strip where the "plate" advised doing an initial fly by to clear errant sheep and kangaroos. Flying out of Moorabbin, it was a revelation for a tyro private pilot from the UK to have 3 active parallel runways. edit to add..we're talking mid-late seventies.
